Today, November 4, the republican stage of the contest "Imam of the Year - 2021" was held among imam-khatibs working in mosques under the auspices of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan. The imams of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent, who won the regional stages, competed in the republican stage.

According to the results, the following imams were recognized as winners of the competition:

1st place - Sunnatilla Ernazarov, imam-khatib of the Sobirkhon ota mosque of Piskent district, Tashkent region.

2nd place - Bekmuhammad Alibayev, imam-khatib of the Ravallik mosque of Jizzakh city, Jizzakh region.

3rd place - Tursunov Ikromjon Khusnitdinovich, imam-khatib of the Khudoyor Hoji mosque of Margilan city, Ferghana region.

The winners were awarded cash prizes and valuable gifts by the Vaqf Foundation.
